Job Brief:
You are a strong Sales & Business Development Representative who will help to manage and recruit qualified members for the COO Alliance. You will be recruiting, fostering, and recording the progress of the relationship, as well as interviewing these potential applicants and closing the applicants that are qualified.

We are looking for an energetic, confident, and discerning individual who understands the value and values of our brand and is able to find and recruit dynamic members for our National and Regional programs. We are looking for a team player who is solution oriented, creative, and passionate about our brand and mission.

Success in this role will require you to be business savvy, knowledgable of our brand’s offering, and most importantly, our ideal target demographic. You will need to sound and appear poised and confident on phone and video calls. You will need to be up to date with current trends in the business world, our company, and our specific segment of business. You will need to be able to communicate your business and industry knowledge with confidence and ease. 

To achieve success in this role, you will need to generate National Membership sales for the COO Alliance. You will handle inbound leads our marketing generates and also generate your own leads through referrals and direct outreach, on your own. You will support and send leads to the Regional chairs. Over time you will manage and generate bulk book orders for Meetings Suck. You will cultivate innovative ways to find, and recruit impressive new members. Having experience in Linkedin Recruiter, and CRM management will also be imperative.

This position is a remote position, so internet, cell phone, and computer access with video capability is required.

Pay will be discussed in depth at the interview. Minimum base and expected sales commissions should fall between $70-80k in the first year. There will be a forgivable draw against commissions of $3,500/Month.

Responsibilities:

  • Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Generate leads based on your own experience and research
  • Reply to all new leads within 24 hours
  • Contacting potential clients through the use of (including but not limited to) cold calls and emails
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market, via LinkedIn and top lists 
  • Help to identify creative solutions with the management team to help cut down time from lead generation to sale
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
  • Report to the Director of Operations and necessary team members on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) basis regarding sales results and other pertinent data
  • Document incoming leads and provide appropriate data throughout the sale’s life cycle
  • Be responsible for data/contact tracking, management, and collection
  • Provide data and feedback when necessary to help us to refine our go to market strategy and identify marketing and product gaps
  • Collaborate when needed with the team on all necessary, tactical/strategic initiatives

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
  • Sophisticated communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Superior time management skills
  • Take feedback well
  • Experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software (i.e. Salesforce or Contactually)
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations/ has charisma
  • Dresses with sophistication and style when client facing
  • We are looking for someone with 2-5 years of pre-existing sales experience in selling to both qualified leads and cold calls.
  • Knowledge of Linkedin Recruiter
  • Tech Savvy
